Grant Milligan is a Senior Principal at Quinn Dressel Associates and has over 40 years of experience in the field of structural engineering consulting services. Grant has been responsible for some of the most complex structures built not only in Canada, but also internationally. Among the structures to his credit are the Shanghai Security Exchange in Shanghai, China, the Canadian Broadcasting Centre (CBC) in downtown Toronto, the Ontario Cancer Institute of Princess Margaret Hospital, the Clinical Services Building for Toronto General Hospital, the expansion of Markham Stouffville Hospital, a compliance role for multiple venues for the Pan Am Games, the Niagara Falls Entertainment Centre, and countless others.
The distinctive features of each project Grant undertakes are made possible by his innovative structural designs. With the emergence of 3D modelling software and increasingly powerful analytical tools, today's structures are consistently pushing the limits of structural complexity. Grant's experience marries together the architectural vision with the practical requirements of the structure, resulting in innovative, cost efficient structural designs.
