Markham Stouffville Hospital, Markham

The project involved a new addition to the south and west of the existing building that doubled the size of the Markham Stouffville Hospital facility. The new wing of over 35,000 square metres, plus renovations to more than 12,000 square metres of the existing 35,000 square metres facility. The facility included a new emergency department, improved and expanded ambulatory clinics, increased numbers of in-patient beds and operating rooms, new diagnostic imaging department, maternity area and a mental health unit.
